Principal: Dr. Melissa Hensley
Dr. Melissa Hensley serves as the principal at Hopewell Elementary.
Dr. Hensley joined Park Hill in 2014 as Renner’s principal, after serving as an administrator at the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Before that, she was a first-grade teacher, a literacy coach, a Title I reading instructor and an elementary professional development implementer.
Dr. Hensley received the 2016 Exemplary New Principal award from the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals. Dr. Hensley has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Master of Education in K-12 Reading and Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University.
Assistant Principal: Mrs. Taylor
Morgan Taylor began in Park Hill as a fifth grade teacher at Renner Elementary in 2019. She also served as assistant to the principal, summer school reading interventionist, and summer school math interventionist. Before Park Hill, she taught in the Fulton 58 Public Schools. She received her specialist degree in Administration from William Woods University, master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri, and bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from William Woods.
Most recently, Mrs. Taylor served as assistant principal to Hawthorn and Graden Elementaries from 2022-2024.
