Below are Hopewell's objectives for the 2024-2025 school year.
Goal: Build successful futures for Hopewell Students of all backgrounds
Here are our strategies:
1. Academics/Multi Tiered Systems of Support

Grade Level PLCs focused on student learning and growth

MTSS processes expanded and all staff collaborating around shared students of all abilities

Dedicated time in the schedule for interventions for Reading and Math

Tier 2 and 3 focused interventions around areas of student need

Tier 1 strong instructional practices focus for professional learning for all learners
2. Positive Behavior Intervention Supports/Multi Tiered Systems of Support
- Professional learning around the Great 8 practices of PBIS to maintain fidelity
- Increase of family understanding of PBIS through the family newsletter each month
- Expand schoolwide celebration opportunities for all students with assemblies and opportunities for rewarding positive behavior
- Continue to develop Tier 2 supports for students with fidelity schoolwide
3. AVID
- Maintain sustaining levels of AVID implementation as an AVID Elementary school
- Focus on inquiry and notetaking strategies with all learners
- Facilitate and model goal setting with learners
- Aide students in monitoring their academic progress with consistent and effective feedback
4. Teacher, Staff and Family Engagement/Sense of Belonging
- Increase opportunities for families as volunteers and visitors throughout the school year
- Increased cultural opportunities & connections for students and families
- Staff and Teacher input toward social events
- Staff communications as a platform to celebrate staff and their contributions
5. DEIB Driver and Narratives
- Hopewell DEIB council meets quarterly develop areas of focus and action steps for meeting council objectives
